Welcome to West Milton Church of Christ. We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating, so hopefully this section makes you feel at ease. At West Milton, we want you to feel right at home from the moment you pull into the parking lot. Our services are centered on the Bible, featuring vibrant congregational singing, meaningful prayer, and practical teaching from God's Word. You'll find people dressed in everything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual—so come as you are. Whether you're a lifelong believer or just curious about faith, there's a seat waiting for you!
FLOW OF SERVICES
Sunday Bible Study | 9:00am
You can expect to be greeted at the door. Before study begins, we tend to be chatting and shaking hands. During study, you can expect a mixture of prepared insights from the teacher and a healthy mix of questions and answers from attendees. Bible study has a loose, relaxed feel.
Sunday Worship Service | 10:00am
Service begins with announcements, a scripture reading, and singing several songs acapella. We then hear the message from our preacher. At the end of the lesson, our preacher will invite anyone up who wishes to be baptized. We will then sing an invitation song to allow for anyone in need to come forward. We will also take communion and collect offerings. Communion should only be taken if you are a baptized member of the church. Please do not feel obligated to give if you are visiting. Giving should be according to your ability (2 Cor 8:12), with cheerfulness, and not grudgingly (2 Cor 9: 7). After services, you can expect members to greet you warmly.
Wednesday Bible Study | 6:00pm
Most arrive in more relaxed attire and chat for a while before study begins. Wednesdays study is exactly like Sundays, but the lesson is on another topic. You will likely be invited to go out to eat with everyone afterward.
